My Epson 5020 is going to be mounted about 10.5' from the wall. I've heard that this projector is a light cannon. So would the Cinegrey be better for this considering the distance from the screen? Or can I get a way with the plain Cinewhite which is cheaper?

Cinegrey is really nice for projectors that has the light output, but poor black levels... that's not the case with the 5020. I would stick with the Cinewhite... just more versatile in the long run (when you eventually select your next PJ).
