I've had a 120" screen for about 4 months now. When the screen goes down I get 4 vertical bands of wrinkles that run from the top of the screen to the bottom. After the screen has been down for maybe 10 minutes virtually all of the wrinkles have disappeared except for those in the lower right corner. After maybe 2 hours almost all the wrinkles are completely gone.
When the screen rolls up I can see the wrinkles form right where the screen rolls into the housing. It seems obvious that these wrinkles are the ones present when the screen lowers. While they are going away after the screen hangs for awhile, I'm afraid they will become more of a problem over time.
I've worked with the Visual Apex customer service on two occasions now and each time we've worked on the adjustment screws at the bottom of the screen. The problem, however, appears to be at the top of the screen, when the screen rolls up. There doesn't appear to be any adjustments at the top of the screen.
Anybody had any experience with this issue and any tips for how to fix the problem?
So nobody has wrinkles in their screen?
I am going on my third replacement with vapex120.
The build quality is suspect.
Customer service is great.
All of mine have had wrinkles.
Price we pay for paying less than the other tab tensioned screens i guess.
