Hi everyone:)

it's my first post, so I would like to apologise for my english.

I ordered samples of Stagelite Matt White 100 from Harkness and the quality of picture is exactly the same as on my white painted wall. I found only one difference - on the Stagelite surface white colour is a little bit brighter than on the wall. The colours, contrast, blacks are exactly the same. I'm a little bit confused. I have no idea if I have a superior projection wall from NASA or the quality of Stagelite surface is poor. Or maybe I just can't notice difference on the A4 piece of surface. I was checking with and without ambient light, with and without my wife😄 the effect is still the same. I'm a noob in this matter, so maybe I just don't know how to check and what is important for projector screen, so please forgive me, but... I have no idea what to do. I would like to do a simple DIY screen which give me more vibrant colors and will be suitable for 3d (active shutter).
Could you advice something not expensive or explain how to check the samples again?

Many thanks

Projector: Optoma HD25e
Screen: just a white wall
