Check out my "build" thread here:
http://www.avsforum.com/t/1514486/new-home-first-media-room-setup

I am looking at either an Elite screen or monoprice. This is based on budget.
I will be using an epson 5030.
My room is 9ft tall, about 17ft long, 14ft wide.

Looking for anyone who has had these screens, specifically monoprice. I always get stuff from monoprice and have never had issues.
After some reading, I have decided on a white screen as my room will be real dark.
But I was planning on a 106 size. Seating will most likely start about 7ft back.

What is everyone's opinion on that choice of size?

No one?
Really not looking for a debate on which is better, just if people have one or the other, and how are they.
I have decided on a 106.

My buddy had a Elite 120 electric and the color accuracy was horrible went to a 133" SI and no wrinkles, the white is square and color accuracy was 10x better. I would buy anything before buying an Elite...

I have a Elite Spectrum 100 motorized and it's fine for the $179 I paid. Yes it's got some light waves but under normal viewing you can't see them. Just enjoy the movie instead. This is a temp setup until dedicated HT is started. Then no doubt I will have a fixed screen.
