using high gain screen paint, should the paint be sprayed on or brushed?

Spray paint if you're good at it. If you can't spray, use a roller.

is grey paint ok or should it definitely be white if i'm looking to get the most brightness out of a high gain screen? with grey significantly reduce the brightness?
