Thinking of hanging screen not near a wall.

So, my thinking for a projector I would like to buy, is I will be keeping the LCD for day to day use, and the projector for movies and other stuff. The thing about this, is that I will have to have the screen a few feet in front of the LCD, not flush against the wall. Will this be an issue if it is just hanging from the ceiling with nothing holding it on the bottom when watching a movie?

That is a very common option for a manual or electric drop down screen.. attached to the ceiling or hung form chains if need be.
