Will a CineGrey 5D work with an Optoma HD25e?

So I've ready through most of the CineGrey 5D threads. I've got a Favi 120" electric screen in my living room mounted in front of my wall-mounted 55" TV.

I hadn't owned a projector since I got rid of my ceiling-mounted CRT close to a decade ago, and this HD25e is very, very bright. Bright enough that even with a good bit of ambient light in the living room, we never use the TV anymore...always the PJ. That being the case, the CineGrey 5D has piqued my interest. Most of our viewing has at least some lighting on (sometimes a lot of it), but we do watch an occasional film with all lights off at night. Will this screen be usable at night (I'd imagine it'll be fine for 3D)? I think the HD25e is rated at 2800 lumen, IIRC, so would y'all steer clear of a screen like this? I'm mostly concerned about the occasional time I watch with lights off in 2D....
