I seem to recall reading on the forum that higher gain screens, like the Draper 2500 (2.1 gain) work well with dlp and lcd projectors despite their higher light output.
Supposedly, these types of projectors are less prone to hot spotting and color shift problems because they disperse light more evenly onto the screen through their single lens.
Could anyone support or comment upon this?
Chuck, what is the "angle of incidence?"
My 6' wide couch (sweet spot is in center) is 14' from my proposed 106" diagnal 16:9 screen. The projector (Sony 10HT when it is available) will be ceiling mounted directly overhead and about 2-3 feet forward of couch.
