Why is there such a delay in getting the Draper Cineperm screens? Are they stiching these screens from scratch? I just ordered one and it was a minimum of 21 days before leaving the factory.

I waited four weeks for my Cineperm, which arrived a few weeks ago. I'm having the screen material replaced, and will probably have to wait another four weeks for the replacement. And the beat goes on.

Farewell Voom. Farewell Directv. Farewell Bell Express Vu. Farewell Dish.
Had 6 dishes, now none.
Back to Comcast. Farewell Comcast, now back to Dish 120+HD. Farewell Dish.

Returned to Comcast 06/2012.

Back in the early days, there were just HD demo loops, no programming. Now HD 3D, amazing!

As a dealer, I can confirm that is about standard for leadtime on Draper screens. Da-Lite is a little better, they usually ship within five business days.

Depending on the shipping time from Draper, that sounds about right for delivery time. The local dealer I bought mine from told me that they don't keep stock on most items so it is actually made after it's ordered. I have no way to know if he is right though.

Anyway, I ordered an M1300 Cineperm recently and it showed up in 2.5 weeks. It was likely a bit shorter for me since the factory is in Indiana (same as me) so it only took a day or two via UPS ground to get to my local dealer.

4.5 weekd for my m1300, but that's my luck so most times should be less http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif
