I went out last night and bought some blackout material (Joan fabrics)and it is loaded with wrinkles and so forth any suggestions and how to get them out? I have it hanging now and plan on making a frame but I do not think this will get out all of the wrinkles, this is all they had in stock. they suggested putting it in the dryer (low temp.) for a while. also I have it over a window and some light still gets through. thanks.

I have purchased the curtain blackout material also and was wondering the same thing.
It will be a while before I put my screen up though.
Have you figured out a way to remove wrinkles?

Can steam irons--like drapery installers use--be of help?
Just an idea...

The ladie from Joann's suggested putting the material in the dryer with a damp towel and dry a low temp. for 5 minutes. I tried this and it got a huge amount of the wrinkles out. I also rolled the material up on a cardboard roll right out of the dryer that i got from Joann's
