Finally, HT room completed. Projector is up.
My 100 inch 16x9 diagonal elecric Stewart screen is going up this weekend. My wife suggested she paints a mural (she's an artist) on the wall exactly where the white image area will end up. The image will be in matt paint using black, navy and dark grey tones. Probably a classic cartoon Batman scene or something similar. (ceiling is matt black as is the screen wall while the other three walls will be a very dark navy blue, almost black)
The idea being that in 'relaxing mode' when the screen is up, there will be certain spotlights angled towards the mural/painting which hopefully will look very nice.
Question is, how badly will this painting affect the image once the light seeps through and bounces on the back of the screen?
