I was just made aware of the inexpensive Rosco screen material.
Since using "grey" screens is now all the rage with high lumen
digital projectors the obvious question arises. Is the
Rosco "grey" screen something that's suitable to achieve
the same effect? Has anyone tried it?

Never heard of it. Do you have any more info?
How about a link?
Lex/MC1, Cinepro, SL3, Logos, Tripoles, Sony 10HT, GrayHawk screen.
You can also go to the Rosco site and drill down for some similar information: http://www.rosco.com
Their grey rear projection material is targeted at theatrical set applications. It's a vinyl material that can be bought in 55" bolts for $16/yard, or in wider bolts (84"?) for $70 or so a yard. I have a small sample but it's hard to tell how it would look on a bigger screen. -- Herb
