Elunevision Aurora ALR Screen

Elunevision is coming out with a new ALR screen. When I spoke to them on the phone about trying to order another screen material, he said if you could wait until maybe March it should be out. I think he said price was starting somewhere around high $2k's. But the time frame and pricing were estimates as it's still in development.

Anyone have any more info on this screen? I found it mentioned in 3 different reports from the TAVES show last year in Ontario but not much was said. It does appear to be coming in 16:9 and 2.35:1 varieties.

Any additional details available? Any idea if it will be offered in a tab tensioned model?

Appears to be just a slim bezel fixed frame right now. Limited to 120" 16:9 and 133" 2.35:1.

A lot of marketing fluff with a decidedly lack of technical specs. Can't find anything on gain, viewing angles, etc, but it does say that's it's an angular reflective material.

Hi, I can confirm there is a tab tensioned model that can be custom built. I ordered a 120" one in November but haven't received it yet. Will update this once it's set up. There is a youtube video for it too.

I must have posed it in another thread, but a while back I found on their site, under size and specifications, that the gain may be 1.5, but now it looks like it will be 1.3.

It's listed right after the screen size under model numbers. This is confirmed as it's how all other screens from them list size and gain.

So not so terribly high of gain as hoped for. Also, makes me wonder if they ripped off anothers screen material again like they did with Da-Lite's High Power and Draper's Radiant when they called it Vivid Pro and Pure Bright.

And prices are up on Eastporters. So much for their quoted ~$2k and also a year late.

For that cost of $4-5k, I would probably go with something else...
