is dual format screen a good option? but it is not tab tensioned.
what are the advantages of tab tensioned?
how about a fixed screen? will it easily get dirty vs a motorized one?
how about a fixed curved?

im not sure with a 2.35:1 screen but how can you display 16:9 imax scenes with it? like the dark knight ?

this is in a dedicated home theater. so room is dark

room has almost 21 feet depth. will be seating 11 inches and 14 ft from the 120" screen or should i seat closer?

thank you

Fixed screens will never curl or get wrinkles as most drop screens that are not tab tensioned even they some times have problems. So if you can always go with a fixed screen. Fixed screens are also cheaper with more available screen types.

Their is no simple solution to watching mixed AR like the Dark Night on a 2:35 screen. Some just mask or blank out (the 5040 has that option) the top and bottom of the IMAX scenes.

A curved screen should only be used with an A lens as projectors are designed for a flat screen and will barrel distort on a curved screen without the pin cushion effect of an A lens.

From reviews they are close to the same, I would go with the silver ticket.
