I am in the midst of building out my HT and I just couldn't stand it...I had to break the new projector out and see. I put a sheet up with a 124 16:9 diag. The picture was not clear at all. Very dull.

So my question is how much improvement can I expect with a GreyHawk or similar "HT" screen?

I have a DWIN DLP with an ISCOII

Thanks,
Greg

I'll help you out with this.

Here's two pictures in my system. Source is an Onkyo DV-S939 DVD-V/DVD-A player, and the Projector is the NEC LT-150, budget special of the new century in FP ;)

1) A white bedsheet click for higher resolution shot:

2) A greyhawk screen click for higher resolution shot:

Hope this helped.

I'm pleased with the results, and I haven't fully tweaked the player at this time.

I still need to do another color calibration run and after that it's time to tweak the gray scale.

Woo Hoo! (As it were).
