I have just install my 110" Microperf Grayhawk, PJ is G11.

Recommeded by Dennis Erskine in my design and given the green light by Don Stewart given the viewing distance (10' an 14') and PJ combination, I was still a little worried that given the cost of the screen, them little holes would cause problems.

I am happy to say "oh boy" what a great picture and no sign of those tiny little holes unless you get real close.

I also have to say as many others have that the packing, construction and finish of this product is second to none.

Cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin. I am looking at the exact same screen you have.

How close do you need to be before the holes bother you??

Thanks,

Dennis has recommended a Microperfed Greyhawk (123" wide, 2.35 aspect)
with a JVC G150HT D'ILA.

Glad to know it is so nice.

Cain,

I would say 6 - 7ft and then you have to know the perf's are there and only in bright areas of the picture.

Given some negative feedback in this forun in the past re perf screens, I was nervous as hell but as Dennis spec'd the screen I had some faith that all would be well !

The HT is not yet finished but needed to mount the PJ and screen to check dimensions etc.

Ended up watching several chapters of various DVD's just to see how things performed. Put it this way I spent far to long watching and not working because the PQ was so good, mind you my tempory setup uses a painted white wall so my baseline is some what skewed I feel.

Busy putting up soffits and fabric, its a race to see if the Berklines show up before I am ready !

Cheers,

Martin.
