Greetings all! I've been looking around and getting some ideas for cheap alternative screen materials.
I have a very limited budget which does not include
a 2 to 3 hundred dollar screen. So if you have some time, I would greatly appreciate getting some of your cheap alternatives. Thanks, Mark.
P.S. Happy to be on board!
:)

So you want to go cheap...

Do a search for DYI screens - as in Do It Yourself.
You should find lots of information.

Topics include
1. Painting the wall white or light grey
2. Dry Wall screens
3. Wall board screens
4. Blackout Cloth (My personal choice since I need 81" x 61")

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with every Microsoft product

I assume that you see that DIY was accidentally and incorrectly written as DYI, although DYI could be a Freudian slip (Do Yourself In)....hehe.

I made a screen using a 4 x 8 sheet of 1/16" white plastic material I found a Lowe"s Home Store. I posted information on this and a picture. Check-it-out. (High Quality Screen at a very low cost) This is brighter, with now hot spots than those you can purchase for $1000.00 up.

If interested I can give you more details.
