I mean other than a cooler look on the fixed frame?

I have been using a manual pulldown screen but when seeing pics of home theaters with fixed frame screens, i've been getting a little jealous. So as of late, I've been looking at the prices of these things and they seemed a little pricey til I found on on a rather popular site today that I found reasonable.

I found a 92" widescreen fixed framed screen for half of what you might find them at a big box store for. Should have it in a few days. If it's only better in the looks department, i'm sure i'll be happy with it. There's something about seeing that bar which the manual screens rolls up into that bothers me. I know some have hidden it but if I can just have a picture frame type screen sitting on the wall, I think that'll be better.

Fixed frame screens give a better picture even though it is the same material. Plus you can always order different material and still use the same frame. It won't get wrinkles and and waves either.

Ok, good deal. Glad there is more to it than just looking better.
