hi guys, first time poster. I just recently had a home theatre setup installed in my condo, with the Mitsubishi HC7000 as the centerpiece. The picture was incredible, except for a strange "blob" of neutral light at the bottom of the picture which was infuriating (it kind of looked like someone was shining a small flashlight at the bottom of the screen). I returned the projector to the AV installer which he tested and confirmed the defect. The Mits rep said that occasionally a projector will have a small defect that allows light to "leak" out of the light path and create this problem. The Mits dealer sent a new unit to my AV guy, which he tested before taking to my place, and lo and behold it had the same problem, only in a different spot on the screen. So now I'm waiting for my third HC7000 to arrive. I'm just wondering if anyone here has had this problem with another projector, or heard of the 7000 having lots of defects? Thanks for any input.
