Yes, it's a public forum to post comments as well. Notice all those things called "comments" and "opinions" that make up most of this forum?

If someone posts pictures on a public discussion forum, they automatically invite comment. That's what discussion forums are for.

If someone only wants to see his own pictures on the Internet, but without people commenting, there are various image web sites he can use...Image Shack etc. (and he probably turn off comments).

I'm not sure why you want this forum to be a one way street. It's not.

Cheers,

Sorry but this whole thread is weird...their is already a screenshot thread. It would be like me starting a whole new Denon AVR-A100-4311 NO PRICE TALK thread. I think I am starting to get double vision

Thanks. To my eyes the Dead Calm screen grab looks too overexposed like the shutter speed was to slow. I see whites clipping on the shirt and some areas that look overly bright washing out some color.

I was not pleased with how the photo turned out , but I wanted it posted on page three anyways.

Possibly contrast boost when the studio authored the disc?

The review here said it was when looked at the comparisons. Since I am calibrated for booth BTB / WTW using my HTPC and using 7.5IRE at low foot lambert 2- 9 (estamate) contrast boosting is not my main concern, my interest being color accuracy.

Like in the shot above you see the detail into the bottom of her hair close near her neck..

You wouldnt get that in a flat panel they would be so overkilled you would miss that detail...

Again Awesome Screen shot....
I cant wait to get my new camera....
I have learned more tips in how to take proper shots because of this thread...

If you paid for these services, get your money back. Your BenQ W5000 looks as bad as they do out of the box.

I used a ColorMunki Pro bought from curtpalme.com. I paid for the new camera, lenses, batteries, the ND2 filter, and screen masking/decor.

I would suggest you not make personal information available to the unknown masses. We have no idea who is viewing our posts.

Why 7.5IRE? You aren't using "brilliant color" by chance are you?

In case your interested, here is my latest calibration charts.

I've not shown the CIE diagram here because colour is over saturated when calibrating with THX CALIBRATOR. The colours look washed out if I use HCFR and the eye one sensor and the BenQ won't allow me to tweak the colors to be accurate anyway. I didn't get the 2nd FW when it was released and now it out of warranty, I really could not be bothered.

What I don't get is why do I only get 5.3 FL on screen?

fraisa -

We have neighborhood watch and the sheriff lives on our road too. Anyone that comes on our road must leave the way they came.

There will not be any more for awhile. I have no material really that I have not already had decent shots of.

At another forum someone was posting comparison shots in the Amélie blu-ray thread when I posted a photo of myself with a gnome. I could continue that which would be entertaining, but I don't think the mods would allow it, so I'm waiting for more releases.

CAVX -

I need photos relating to subject like my first post and would like to avoid any other discussion. I use 7.5 IRE because I always have and I do not use BC.

Surgery went okay and they were able to fix the problem with one side being deviated. They also found extra bone on the left side of my nose that was preventing me from breathing well and fixed that.

I will get some shots from The Big Blue soon and maybe even revisit some movies so that I can use 3900K.
