This is a Sony VW1000 thread so he's likely talking about the VW1000.

Yes, a Sony1000, at min throw distance, with the lens right at mid-screen vertically, and about 2 ft off mid-screen horizontally.

The projectors are great Wolfgang, but man I realllllllllly love those theater seats. They look so comfy. They're awesome? Who makes those?
