I have a bit of a strange request to make for any owner of a W6000 or W7000 projector. I would like to project patterns from a computer for use in a 3D structured light scanner.

What I need to know is how SMALL of an image can be projected before you can no longer focus. The manuals are never accurate for this number so I need someone to actually try this. Just an approximate answer is all I need. An answer such as "about XX inches across by XX inches tall" is what I am looking for. I would like to hear from both a W6000 and a W7000 owner as there might be a difference. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've made multiple calls to BenQ over the past week and no one seems to actually have access to one of these...

UPDATE: I was able to test a W6000. The manual was correct for this. 3'4" is closest distance which gives image 16" x 9" - Now I just need to know for W7000...
