I was looking at my friends pj and seem to notice it wasn't level. It didn't seem to be trapezoid in shape but the left/right vertical seems to be straight but the top and bottom seem to slightly slope in the same direction. As in both the left side, top and bottom, seems to be lower than the right side top and bottom. Is this possible lol?

Often times, people will not have the screen perfectly level and then they just adjust the projector to match the screen.

Added
If the image is filling the screen completely and any over scan lost in the velvet screen frame, you probably could not tell if the image is trapezoidal shaped unless you threw up a test pattern.

Is the projector ceiling mounted? If so, ceiling mounts usually have roll, pitch and yaw adjustments to get everything lined up. Also, its easiest to tune the physical adjustments with the electronics ones off (zero horizontal and vertical shift, no keystone).

Thx for the replies guys. I think the problem was, that he had a slightly wonky cupboard shelf.
