Im leaning towards AE7000 currently. i understand that the PQ is very clear and its one of the best in its class. but reading through the forum there are people complaining about certain stuff. however those are not affecting me much at the moment. for some reason this projector's lamp bulb has a huge pricing in my country. cost about $500 USD per lamp bulb for this projector.

is there any alternative you people would suggest to me? i do not have a preference in DLP or LCD projectors. i want something with a sharp image. vibrant colors. and has a very low lag time for gaming.

The Sony HW30 has the lowest lag time of the current projectors (Epson 5010, Panasonic 7000, etc). It also has better 3D than the 7000.

The lamps for the Sony are around $225, the least expensive of all the current models.

I'm going to assume you want to use 3D here. There is also no consumer level 3D projector that can accept a 1080p 60Hz due to the current HDMI spec is not compatible with this refresh rate at 1080p, you need to use dual DVI to do this, and the only consumer grade projector with DVI is the ACER H9500BD, and it only has one. You can do 1080p24Hz or even 1080p30Hz, but that's about it. 2D 1080p 60Hz works fine however with almost all 1080p projectors. I would like someone to prove me wrong though.
