Hi

Well, it's all in the title... my HS60 has now come to 3000 hours, is approx 6 years old, and I just moved house so I'm re-wiring the new living room anyway so... it's time for a new projector!

From what I've been reading, that Panasonic PT-AT5000E looks like an ideal replacement in the £2000-3000 range ($3100 - 4600).

Now I'm a bit puzzled... as I was planning to buy the new projector within the next week or two, but I've just seen Panasonic might come out with the 6000E in September!... eek.gif

What should I do?! Go for the 5000E or wait over a month for the new one (and presumably also pay more)?

Also, what glasses should I get?

So many questions... confused.gif

Cedia is the big show in the US. That is when most companies make announcements of new products. Hard to know if it is worth waiting, or even how long. But this is a weird time to buy...

Or it is a really good time to buy if you like last years model. The prices often drop significantly once the next generation is announced.
