I've bought 2 thru them, but if they don't stock it and I need one gotta find another source.

What other store are you guys buying bulbs from?
How about bulb America?
http://www.bulbamerica.com/philips-lmp-h200-projector-lamp-with-housing.html?mr:trackingCode=0B6B6D9C-D9F9-E011-8116-001517B1882A&mr:referralID=NA
This seems equivalent
Quote:
PHILIPS LMP-H200 Projector Lamp with Housing
SKU BL05418-14
Manufacturer Philips
Lamp Part # LMP-H200
Projector Manufacturer's Sony

It's : $216.23 , so not one of those $89 bulbs from Amazon.

Another site is Electrified Discounters Inc.

My first JVC bulb from them blew at 100 hours, but under their "150-hour replacement policy" they sent me a replacement for free -- and it's working fine.

Well I got my replacement bulb just in time for the big labor day weekend backyard movies, http://www.avsforum.com/t/989861/mike-r-mtbdudex-diy-home-theatre-basement-thread-4-year-project-done-in-2008/90#post_22361449
some fun picts from that event:

The old OE bulb had 1,300 hours on it
The Replacement bulb seemed 98% same as OE bulb with a few changes.
-dust filter slightly different
-black nylon injected housing tool is curved on front bulb face (OE bulb) vs flat on Replacement bulb

some picts side-side

btw, I see the AVS store now has these on a waiting list, http://shop.avscience.com/Sony-Replacement-Lamp--LMPH200_p_24.html

Coming Soon, add your name to the waiting list by clicking below.
Includes air filter
200W ultra high pressure lamp
3,000 hour estimated life

is that a typo the 3,000 hours??

In my memory I've always seen only 2,000 hrs life rating, are these different then??

If so, I'd like to see the hour usage vs bulb brightness % plot for the 3,000 hr bulb vs the 2,000 hr bulb......

Hey Mike, is that 3,000 hrs rating real or a typo?
