I'm looking at the Epson 5010 and the Panasonic AE7000 for use with an acoustically transparent screen... the Enlightor 4K 110" wide, 16:9 ratio. The measured gain on the screen is around .8 and the throw distance would be in the 14' to 17' range. I'm not much into 3D at this point. I watch a split between HDTV (sports) and Blu-Ray. I'm a definite novice when it comes to projectors and would appreciate any advice you have on projector selection... either between these two or some other projector in the same price range. Thanks!

Their both great pj's with the AE being a little better for FPS gaming, and the Epson having a little brighter image. Hard to go wrong with either I think, for what you want. If you have to go to a 17' throw, the brighter Epson might be better.
