Thanks! So it sounds like the Runco would be the best of the three. I saw an early review of the vivatek that complained of softness in the picture. Is that true compared to the other two?

No, not at all. The lenses are the same in all three. The review unit must have had a bad lens sample. If I had to choose between the three, the Runco would be the one I'd choose to own.

Got it. Assume you'd choose the runco for superior contrast performance.

It doesn't have superior contrast performance, just a better implemented dynamic iris (LED dimming). You just see the LED modulation working less on the Runco compared to the Vivitek and NuVision.
