Damn, now I want one too!Jason, what have you done Is this a poor-man's JVC???
Did you try hooking it up to the HTPC? How readable is the text? How does it look @ 720p and 1080p? (screenshots *wink wink*) Is there any noticeable input lag? ANSI contrast is quite low, I presume?

I did hook it up to the Intel PC stick @ 1080P. The text is legible but definitely don't expect pixel perfect appearance that we get from projectors like the Planar and JVC. I'll try to get you a photo of what it looks like tonight.

It has a softness to the text that reminds me of the typical mid-range CRT monitor where we always wished it was razor sharp like we've become spoiled with on today's monitors.

Seegs has the lag tester device, maybe he can check for us on Friday when he gets it.

native is definitely impressive, it handles low APL scenes much better than I thought possible for a $400 projector.

I was shooting onto my white ceiling last night at about 70" inches with lights out checking out clips from Oblivion and Planet Earth II BD and thought it looked very good.

The Android OS is an older version without Google Play so apps must be side loaded. Not the greatest implementation but it gets the job done.

There is a thread in the under 3K thread and also conversations about the Picobit on Reddit if you want to see what others are saying.

This isn't replacing my RS600 anytime soon but is one of the coolest pieces of technology i've seen in a while... that fits in my pocket!!

Yeah I'll test it out this weekend. I'll be in Boston friday night and most of saturday so I may not post impressions and the lag performance until Sunday. Either way...for a little over $400 I think this projector will impress the hell out of me.

It accepts a 1080p input right? The Leo Bodnar unit only outputs 1080p60.

it should be ok, I ran the intel PC stick @ 1080P60. I wouldn't use this for a desktop use though, the PF 1500 is much better suited for that purpose with it's nice square pixels.

the including player had no issues with any of my MKV's but will probably install VLC as well.

it took us 30 years to go from this:

to this:

I bet Henry Kloss would be floored if he were still here and saw today's projectors and especially this small marvel of science.
