Looking to replace a Marrantz VP12-U1M with a new Digital Projector, The projector will be in an in-wall cabinet that is 22 feet away from the screen - The screen size is 86" x 47.5" at around 98' on a 16:9 ratio, after adding this measurements to a projector calculator i get a throw ratio of 3.07 to get the image to fit.

I been looking around for several models and cannot find anything at a regular store that will meet those requirements, i found that i can get an InFocus projector and add a long throw lens but i am not sure if this is my best options.

Pricing wise we are open to anything that is reasonable for our requirements. looking for something that is worth the cost by providing great picture quality and durability as it will be used very often.

Thanks in advance.

I am going to be putting my TruVue Vango DLP LED projector up for sale shortly. Its been in storage for a year. I have the long throw lens, which goes from 2.0:1 to 4.0:1 ratio. Its in mint condition. You can email me at kimg1453@yahoo.com with questions or PM me.

Hi Mark,

No decision at this time as I may be going back to Afghanistan in Jan for a year. I'm pretty sure though that I want to stick with DLP but definitely want to be able to do 3D as well.
