I bought a new RS45 from AVS about 3 months ago. A few weeks before that, I ordered speakers from Salk. The speakers took longer than expected to arrive (>3 months), so I just hooked up my projector yesterday. It worked great for 1.5 days, and now won't turn on. AVS can't do anything because it's out of their 30 day window.
Looking at the JVC site, it seems like there is no phone support, only a form I can fill out and mail them the projector. No information about how long it will take. Also, I'm an idiot and I don't have the original box anymore, so I can't even send it back. And there's nobody to call. This seems really weird for a $3,000 projector. Am I missing something? Is Epson this bad with service as well?
