Need help. I have a new basement media room build and will be purchasing 1st projector.
Room is 21' wide by 23' deep by 10' ceiling. Expect 70% TV, 20% Movies, and 10% Gaming. Little to no 3D. Some indirect light from windows in adjacent room (this could be managed) and bar lights on dimmers. In media room there are some cans and sconces on dimmers. While pictures show full light, I could come close to full light control, but given interest in TV viewing, I want projector to be capable in some ambient low/indirect light.
Carpet will be dark olive/maroon and walls are combination of stained dark mahogany and flat dark olive paint. Ceilings will be either dark olive or black. I have custom wood trim and 7.2 speakers already installed so I am locked into a max screen size of 142" @ 16:9.
Expect two rows of seats. 1st at 15ft and 2nd at 21ft.
Research leading me towards 2 screens and 4 projectors
[*] Screens - 144" Stewart Studiotek 130, 142" Dalite HP 2.4, 142" Carada Brilliant White (1.3)
[*] Projectors - Sony HW50ES, Epson 6020UB, Sim2 Crystal45, JVC RS55
@Zombie10K has 142" with HP but limited viewing cone would limit viewing from bar area outside media room so I am thinking a bit more viewing angle would be good.
Painting started today (not shown) and carpet expected in 1 week!!
