hey guys, Im new to this and am stuck as far as pulling the trigger on a projector. Im looking for picture quality as good as a JVC, with as minimal lag as possible because i spend 60% of my time watching movies and the other 40% gaming. I have a screen. Walls are painted. Wiring is done. Im just waiting to pick a projector. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Other members have reached out and advised me to get a Sony HW30/50 but i cant seem to find one. Are there any other projectors worth considering? Again i just need 2D picture quality and low lag. I could care less about 3D.

Call Mike Garret at AV Science. 585 671 2968. Great pricing and they have a return policy where you can try it for 4 hrs and 59 minutes with a money back guarantee if you don't like it. I think you will be happy with the Sony HW50ES. Magnolias at Best Buys normally have it on display but its best try one at home on your screen and in your room. Tell Mikey Marky sent you. smile.gif

thanks for the heads up, I really appreciate it, but the thing is im located in Toronto, Canada. But the way im seeing it the general consensus is to go with the SonyHw30 for overall great picture for movies and gaming. Thanks again tho.

Talk to Richard at Quebec Acoustics. When I called to get on the JVC pre-order list he tried to sell me the HW-50. Shipping of my 4810 was very fast and they have stellar reviews.
