With people wanting and going ever bigger and bigger with their screens, how hard would it be for the projector companies to start offering projectors with a dual bulb system? I know some of the higher end projectors offer this but in the regular middle class market this is not an option.

Is going bigger and brighter on anyone's wish list?

I would be very interested. I've been holding out hope that either Laser projection, or multi-bulb projection would help with this. My screen is a 156" AT screen and I'd love to be able to mount the projector at the back of the room in my projection room @ 26". Needless to say, that's not gonna happen with today's projectors, so I've compromised with a ceiling mount today at 18". Crossing fingers that Red will announce their projector next week at NAB.

I loved my Digital Projection dVision 1080p projector with 2 lamps. Especially since I could use one or the other lamp - one at a time - when they were new. Then both lamps at the same time when they got a bit dim. That said, my Lumis is brighter with much much better blacks with only one lamp.
