Hi all,

The first lense in this rectifier has come away from the fixing. I am trying to identify the white compound (circled in red) used to bond the glass to the casing

This is from an NEC NP1000 if that's any help.

Hi there,

Had an electrician friend repair the fly eye. He used Vitcas fire rope seal. Effective up to 1200 Celcius normally used to attach the metal rope around the door on log burning stove doors.

So far so good !
