Our Optoma EP1690 is giving us some fan related issues and as we are a non-profit, contacted a trusted community member.

He offered to provide us with a Mitsubishi XD3200U for close to nothing. At present, the Optoma is located around 12 feet from an inexpensive 85" manual screen. The XD3200U has a native resolution of 1024x768 with a 4500 ANSI lumen rating while the Optoma is rated at 2500 lumens but runs natively at 1280x768. We mainly display promotional videos that are shot in HD (1080p) in a room with no windows and where the lights can be turned off.

Would quality greatly suffer for these videos under these circumstances or am I worrying for nothing? Thank you in advance for your response.
