I apologize if there is a more appropriate forum to place this. I did review the categories and didn't see a spot.

In my past thread I mentioned that I have a BenQ W9000 projector with a broken color wheel. I've got a new color wheel coming that should be here in a few weeks.

I've opened up this projector a few times and have a pretty good handle on how to replace the old wheel. However I've never done this and don't know if it is just a matter of popping in the new wheel or if calibration is going to be required afterwards.

I'd be happy to get someone else to do this task for me. I'm located in northeast CT about 20 minutes south of Worcester, MA.

Is there someone out there who would be interested in doing the repair? I could deliver or ship the projector to you.

When replacing the color wheel whoever's doing the repair will need access to the service menu to calibrate the color wheel. When I say calibrate, you basically tell the projector which segment is what color. I figured I'd give you a heads up. I'd give BenQ a call and see it they'll give you the keystroke needed to open the service menu and maybe some instructions on how to calibrate it.
