Hello fellas,

I saw recently the new line up of laser projectors coming out in 2013. Now I understand that they are geared towards the conference room environment. My question is how would something like the PT-RZ470UW Projector stand up in a home theater? Just looking for some help understanding

I noticed this is a full 1080P HD model. I can't find a review anywhere.
This does look very interesting can't wait to find out more!

Is it even shipping?

There's been a thread on this projector going on for a while, it is shipping. Several folks have seen it.

"NO iris! there is no doubt that this projector could benefit from an iris ability; dark scenes are good but a bit too gray to my taste"

that's the main issue I see. DLP's in this price range are already generally weak with native contrast, so it's not really ideal for HT use imo.
