Interesting find. Seems to be more for Pico or Business class projectors.

Maybe if the technology is viable they could license it to some major FPJ manufacturers.

20 000+ hrs maintenance free use...

i'm wondering if that is compared to bulbs or LED though?

to be perfectly honest, I have no hope for an apple projector meeting my needs.

in a long history of apple products, there's only been two that fit my needs, and only after they were jailbroken. I worry they'll do something weird like not include hdmi inputs or make you install iTunes before you can watch a BD... haha(I kid, but it wouldn't surprise me if they found some way to not go along with convention)

If Apple do ever release a projector you can be pretty sure of three things:
1. It will be white
2. It will sync with itunes
2. They will sell a ton of them regardless of how good it is
