160,000:1 correlates density 5.2

200:1 correlates density 2.3

220:1 correlates density 2.34

 

Please review data http://www.image-engineering.de/datasheets_manuals/testcharts/TE223_A_datasheet.pdf

 

Please note Esser chart TE223A, .5% reflectance (aka black) correlates to a density 2.35? 

 

EDIT:

Two fields of black velvet and white are located between the gray scales. The density of the black field is D > 2.4 (reflectance > 0.5%)
