Hello guys, hope this is the crrect section.

In Feb this year my projector ports HDMI ports were blown from a lightning surge.

Finally after lots of delays I got the unit back. Before it went in it worked flawlessly.

Now the fan makes a noise when it gets hot like a ticking / clicking sounds under high rpm....but I digress.

Colour... that's my concern.

I watched battle ship last night...again and found that certain colours seem to now be affected in certain area's in the screen.

eg if it was a water screne or sky scene on the left hand side of the screen there is now a off colour portion vertically going down the screen where white goes cream in colour and the blue goes slightly greenish.

On the right hand side ever so slightly skin tones go off colour as well doing the same thing so if someone walks from the right to the left on screen they go from slightly off to perfect....until they go through the vertical stripe zone.

What can I do to resolve this ?

Or is a panel damaged or slightly out of alignment ?

I'm new to projectors. Do I send it back in and insist they sort this out as it just came back, or is there something I can adjust ?

Sounds like panel damage/out of alignment. Hopefully your repairer will accept responsibility, or if the repairer diagnoses damage through dropping (e.g. heavy handed freight), you might be able to claim through the freight company.
