There were some rumors earlier that there might be a bulb replacement coming, based on a laser/phosphor combination. Did you hear anything about that? Thanks!

Disappointing. I was really hoping for either a laser based one or at least a higher lumen 1000.

The rumor is the 110ES will be slightly higher lumens than the 1000ES. Perhaps due to increased optical efficiency in the light engine. Nothing dramatic though.

Thanks. That's too bad, though. A stable lamp replacement is really the only thing the 1000/1100 would need to be the ultimate dream machine...

Kraine has this info been pulled? Will it come back before Cedia or was it not supposed to be let out?

So nothing we didn't already know? Oh well. Wasn't there talk of some "little extras" being added to the 1100? Still no CMS?

IMHO it´s only an update version of the VW1000ES. The only really new model is the VW500ES.

Sony has now 3 native 4k Projector !

If so the question is: 500 better than 1000/1100?
For an AT screen 3,30 meters wide in 16/9 gain 1.0 the extra lumens of 1000/1100 could become decisive?

The fact that the 1100 is simply a 1000 updated to hdmi 2.0 makes me think that something more will be showed in a near future...
