First big news, Vivitek will bring out next year two full led DLP full hd projector (homecinema), one entry level and one high end model. New LED diods will be used. Vivtitek expect a brightness level between 1500 and 2000 lumens.

That is good news. With brighter LEDs I would like to see one of these add a dual iris system like Sharp had back with the 12k (one adjustable iris in the lens and a complementary adjustable iris back between the light source and DLP chip). That way a person could go bright for some material, but reduce their white level in a way that improves native on/off CR for other material. Seems like it would be a good combination with the irises improving the starting native on/off CR and the LEDs providing the dynamic system for good dynamic on/off CR. That is, as long as the irises would work well with the LED light sources to improve native on/off CR, which I expect they would.

If it were a French woman, we would want an outside beauty report. Here given that many would view in the dark, the outside attributes are of only minor importance I think how she delivers or is capable of delivering would be the attributes that we would like a report on.

Kraine,

In your report the translation reads: "Second point, blacks are totally plugged, probably a setting intended to suggest that the projector knows projecting powerful black indeed for the shot is successful, but they are totally blocked, which we find rather as a demonstration against-productive. Finally developed more annoying, the picture is grainy and regularly on several different passages." Can you explain what "totally plugged" means? Your comments seem more negative than positive, although you do say things may change when you get the projector into your own testing facility.

Thanks

Yes déjà vu my comments are négatives and I'm hoping that this is only a settings problems that I will be able to correct when I'll get my press sample.
