Afternoon all. Not sure how, but a big finger smudge got on the lens of my Panasonic PT-AE8000. Picture seems unaffected though I sometimes feel focus could be better. Regardless, I'd like to clean it to ensure it isn't affecting picture quality. I have Zeiss lens cleaning liquid that I got for my Sony Nex camera and a micro fibre cloth. After I remove dust particles with a blower, is such liquid safe to use on the lens? Searched forums, web and I'm getting conflicting reports, including Panasonic which says not to use liquid. I suspect they mean water, not made-for-lens cleaner. Anyway, advice welcome! NP

Anyone?

yes, it is just a lens, no different than a camera lens. Also marks on the out side of the lens don't typically effect the image.
