I work at a facility that has a nice 10,000 lumen projector but a terrible power grid. I'd like to find a high-output UPS (that can support this 970-Watt beast), BUT can also transmit the shutdown command (via IR blasters, etc.) when house power drops, just in case there's not a techie present to save the day.
It looks like there used to be quite a few options on the market that have now been discontinued:
- Belkin PureAV™ Hybrid AVU1500
- Furman M1500-UPS-PFP
- Panamax M1500-UPS
Does anybody have any leads on this under-served market? Also interested to hear alternate solutions to this issue - I can DIY if I need to!
