Hello, happy 10HT owners:

I'm in a doubt about how long should I leave the 10HT on after watching something.

If I have to stop for 5 minutes, should I turn it off or leave it on? Which procedure is better for the lamp lifetime?

Or it is better to leave it on?

For that small of an amount of time I would just leave it on, the stress of power on and off is harder on the projector then the lamp life issue. There are quite a few audio/videophiles that I talk to that leave all their equipment on all the time, not a projector or TV of course, but recievers, amps, pre/pros, DVD players, MiniDisk players, etc. They think that the stress of power on and off has an effect on the internal components and shortens the life span. There is also no need to let it warm up when wanting to play something. The projector is the same way on the warm up issue, on power up the projector should be left alone for about 10 minutes anyway to let the lamp warm up, this will give you the best picture.
