I remember someone mentioning about a filter for a lp340 to give it better blacks and colors. Does anyone remember what type this was and how to change it?

That are neutral grey filters. You get them at a photography-shop in several diameters and levels. It helps to achieve a better black level with bright projectors.

Best regards, Walter

Is there a way to combine this with some sort of mask for the 340 to help alleviate the halo effect?

Ryan, Yes!!! Send me an email with your phone # and I'll call you and explain what I did to do this. It takes me too long to explain. If you don't want to send your # send email and I'll send you mine.
