I am in the process of setting up my home theater and will probably go with the sony 10 HT (or 11 HT if it is really released this summer ). Has anyone had experience using the IMX VT (900 series) with the sony or with any other lcd projector? is it worth the money? does it really increase the fill factor without blurring the image? any comments would be much appreciated. thanks

I saw the IMX used in conjunction with the 10HT, and it definitely improved the image by reducing the screen door effect, although I didn't think that the screen door on the GrayHawk was that bad to begin with. Whether it is worth it to you is really a judgment call. Cygnus Imaging has a thirty day return policy on the IMX, however, so you should probably give it a try if you end up buying the 10HT or 11HT. If I buy a 10HT, I'm definitely going to try it and I'll return it if it does not make a worthwhile improvement. But I suspect it will.
