Not sure Panasonic CAN$ are higher than in the US... check this out:

USA:
http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-e...00000000005702
PT-AX100: $1,999.99
PT-AE1000: $5,999.99

CAN:
http://www.panasonic.ca/english/audi...nema/index.asp
PT-AX100: $1,999.99
PT-AE1000: $4,999.99

Audiophile getting into HT... resistance is futile.

how do the mods let someone get away with this much trolling? Aside from one poster, this thread has been really good. One poster is dragging it down.

Jason's on vacation... Mark R. and Alan G. are the only other two and I don't think they read these threads very often. I'm not sure if Bob S. is still in the game or not.

"Report" a post if you have issues, hopefully a mod will get to it in a timely manor if they a find a problem.

I honestly am having second thoughts about the Panasonic. I have one of the first ones coming out of the people, but the Sanyo sounds so close with a better warranty.

However, I do think the Panasonic will be better, specifically with regards to color accuracy, and brightness (which wasn't touched upon yet in the PC review).

Some part of me also thinks that PC may be playing with us all a bit in a fun manner...he maybe saving the best for last. There must be some rhyme and reason to the order he posts the projector reviews seeing as how he got all of them at the same time.

i just dont know what to do! lol

Just because someone does not agree with you, doesn't mean he is trolling!

The Ae1000u does a great job with upscaling DVD's. I can't imagine the ae2000 being worse.

I agree with there is reason he put the review out before the other, as he has both. I have already ordered the panny and I take the review with a grain of salt. Just wait until fridays review release, they might not have any instock after the weekend. There are only so many on the first shippment and many have already purchased. with all that said, I am happy with the purchase, as of now. Really I can't wait!!!! I was holding out for the epsonUB but I can't wait another month or longer and the panny has D7 panels in a black case, all I was really looking for. The sanyo is ugly as sin and would stick out on a flat black ceiling. lets try and stay on topic of the projectors and not who gets paid from where, make another thread about that and hope someone responds to it to vent your frustrations. OK, lets talk ae2000u

Agreed!! 100%

But I think if you read through his posts, you'll find that it goes far beyond disagreeing....

I think the ae2000 will end up being the better unit.Black is a big plus for those like me that have a black ceiling. It does the V-fit strech for CH.It has better blacks Evan said,Colors are suppose to be perfect. It does 1080p 24fps for sure.Has 3 hdmi 1.3 inputs. One thing it does that no other fp does is let you adjust the pic and have 2 windows to see the changes,That is pretty big IMHO.To be able to see your new adjustments compared to the old pic. That is a first for any fp.I think that in itself is worth the extra $$.Will panny offer a rebate soon to compete with the sanyo.I really doubt it.

I hate to merge threads: loss of continuity and other issues

but I could if you guys insist

or close one and leave a redirect...

Mark there's an even easier solution;

IMHO, both of these threads should be closed based on the constant ankle bitting and product pimping that's been going on in them.

Now that it's started shipping a new Official AE2000 thread should be started where owners can post their own comments.

Not a bad idea, but you're bound to see more of the same issues fairly quickly in that as well. But, it'll be a clean start .

OK with me: an owner who regularly posts here should start it: let me know
