Just upgraded to DTV HD. My receiver shows 4 satellites; 95 (8 transponders), 101 (32 transponders), 110 (3 transponders) and 119 (11 transponders).

Searched here and elsewhere and could not find what channels correspond to each satellite/transponder. Anyone have that current info.?

Thanks.

Each transponder?

I don't think anyone outside of D* knows. However, lot's of folks around here know what channels are on each satellite. I'm sure they'd be glad to chime in on that.

As far as I know, 101 is the basic SD cable channels and some of the local SD. 119 is mostly local SD and possibly some RSNs and foreign language channels. 110 and 95 are mostly HD - 95 being MPEG4. I believe 95 is mostly HD locals, but I may be wrong about that.

i think this is the setup:

Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º) (spotbeams trans. 4,12,18,20,26,28)
[Most of your standard definition channels are beamed from 101ºW]

9-16 # # # # # # # #
17-24 # # # # # # # #
25-32 # # # # # # # #

Satellite transponders (3 total at 110º) (No spotbeams)
[Several HD channels are beamed from 110ºW]

Satellite transponders (11 total at 119º) (spotbeam trans. 29)
[A few HD channels, local SD, Spanish package

Satellite transponders (6 total at 99º(s)) (All are spotbeams)
[Local HD channels for some cities]
1-8 # # # # # # NA NA
[Note: these can be very slow to appear]

Satellite transponders (16 total at 103º(s)) (All are spotbeams)

95 is international channels but you need a separate dish for those. Where are your 99 and 103 signals? If you upgraded to HD you should have those satellites from the 5-lnb dish and an HD receiver/DVR. All the new national HD channels are on 103(b)/103(c) (some receivers show (b), others show it as (c)....)
